    Hi there,

    My Jigoshop version is 1.17.11, compatible with 4.4.1. And I have the ‘Checkout Fields Manager’ v1.0 plugin.

    A customer reported getting the error ‘invalid billing state’ when checking out.

    To enable the checkout form page to work I have had to change:

    ‘billing_state’ to type ‘State’ (previously text), and ‘not required’
    and
    ‘shipping_state’ to type ‘State’ (previously text), and ‘not required’.

    This has all been working fine and now it’s not. Can you help please.?

  • Hi Carlos,

    The checkout fields manager you are using is from Jigoshop? Our official version is 1.3.2

    You don’t need to change input fields with value for example ‘billing_state’
    Or ‘shipping_state’ but the fields which are next to the appropriate Billing or Shipping fields. See the screen below with example:

    I have the Jigoshop Checkout Fields manager plugin, but it’s not listed in my available downloads for me to get v1.3.2.

    On your system – Order #23275 made on May 5, 2014 2:14 pm

    Can you advise please.

    PS: In my Available Downloads section of my Jigoshop account, there’s something called iAdvize Live Chat. I have no idea why that’s there, and certainly haven;t bought that plugin etc. Maybe that’s where the Checkout Manager should display..?

    Sorry to add.

    What about the ‘Type’ setting for ‘billing_state‘?

    All other checkout fields are value ‘Text‘, except for Country and Postcode. I changed ‘Billing _State‘ and ‘Shipping_State‘ to Type value ‘State‘ for it not to return an error. Previously this was set to ‘Text‘.

    I am I to presume that the plugin update to 1.3.2 will probable sort this out..?
