Billing State/ County is a required field error – even though it’s not

    Hi,

    I’m trying to test the payment on my website and when I go through Paypal to pay the product, I get this error “Billing State/ County is a required field error – even though it’s not”

    I mention that I already created a staging site with WP Staging, deactivated all the plugins except WooCommerce (Version 3.9.1) and PayPal Checkout (Version 1.6.18) and I switched to Storefront theme. The error persists though.

    I searched online and many had this problem for a long time, I followed the steps in this topic but no luck.

    Can anyone help with this one?

    @neagudeea Would you be able to provide replication steps and possibly screenshots of the error you’re getting? I went to your site, added an item to my cart, then was able to go to PayPal without any errors.

    Thank you. Yes, I figure it out. The plugin is at fault, so I found a better one that solved my problem. This plugin, WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway, shouldn’t be on the market. Not to mention that it was slowing down the page.

    The new one lets you fill out the County box so it’s all good. You can mark this one as resolved.
