Billing state/ country is a required field

I understand that some of your customers are experiencing issues with completing payments as they are met with a Billing state/ country is a required field notice, although they have entered this information into the field, is this correct?

Have you been able to replicate this issue on your end? If so, please can you share a screenshot of what you see?

Clients from different countries had the same issue. Please note that most of the time we don’t have this issue , only few clients.

From what I gather, turning the state/country into an optional field, instead, would enable the now failed orders to go through. Correct?

You could make the state/country field optional following either of the below ways:

• Using custom coding to override the default functionality. For that, feel free to add the code included in this Gist file, with the help of a plugin like Code Snippets.
  • Alternatively, check out this page.
• With a standalone extension, like?https://www.woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-checkout-field-editor/

Thank you Pepe for the reply. The plugin was updated today and in the update it was mentioned that this issue was fixed. I will wait few days to see if the issue happens again , if it happens then i will try those options. Thank you all for the support, really appreciate it.
