    Hello

I am customizing the Woo templates that display cart, checkout etc., (using a Woo directory in my Storefront Child theme, as recommended), but cannot stop the left-hand side of the Checkout page, containing the Billing sub-page, from stretching out vertically from top to bottom, i.e. with loads of white space between thin little form fields.

I have made some attempts using flex: display and align-self: start, but it just ignores my formatting.

    Can anyone help here?
    Thanks in advance

  • It’s not entirely clear what the issue is exactly or where it doesn’t look right. Would you be able to include a screenshot to show that?

For making screenshots, I generally recommend using https://snipboard.io — please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL here in your response.

    Hello Senff

I have just seen that the problem has “solved itself” in the time after I wrote and before you answered!

While I was waiting (we are obviously in different time zones!) I was playing with the CSS on the RIGHT side of the Checkout page – and my playing also affected the vertical spacing on the LEFT side, which is where the Billing information is (name, address etc.)

I think this was a problem with Elementor, adding a bottom margin of 28vh that was screwing up everything.

Anyway, thank you very much for your reply! I can now take away the nasty black border I put around the Billing section to draw your attention to it!
