Billing is a required field.

Getting this error if I’m checking out directly through Paypal. It’s been a while but I still can’t figure out what I’m missing.

I don’t currently see PayPal Checkout enabled on the site. I see PayPal Standard. While testing, I did see some billing fields were required, but after entering those required fields, I was able to proceed to PayPal.

Yeah, I switched it back to standard for now. Kind of give up on it after a few days of searching for solutions. Looks like the problem is there for quite a while and all the possible way around it I found doesn’t quite work.

I’m quite sure you are aware that this is a problem for quite some time now based on the numerous threads with the same problem as mine. I assume you may have possible solutions to fix the problem that works for others. Thus, I would really appreciate if you can maybe just share it with me.

Not really keen to enable Paypal Checkout again right now as I have to move forward with my project. I hope you understand.

I really like your plugin and I wished we could find solutions to this.

Exactly same issue for me.

I solved the issue installing Direct Checkout for WooCommerce plugin by QuadLayers and hiding the state field in the plugin settings about checkout page.

Now it works, but I don’t receive back the billing information from Paypal, so the customer has to send me billing data via mail.

That’s not very good, I’d like to receive billing information from Paypal.

Any solution about that?
