The website is not yet visible for visitors as we are developing.
We have it set up in both English and Dutch using q-translate x.
Am using the Facebook Feed by 10-Web.
Our facebook is set up bilingual too.
But… using the feed I can only manage to display the Dutch version of Facebook on my site.
Is there a way yo get to show the English version on the English page?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

You can modify the translations using POEdit software. All translation files of the product should be located under /languages folder of its directory.

You need to download .po and .mo files of your language from this folder and modify .po with POEdit. Then please upload new .po and .mo back to the same folder, replacing their old versions.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for your reply.
But I’m not sure if that’s what I’m looking for.
    The website is bilingual.
It’s only the FB on the page blog is not showing in English when I set the site to English. Could be because FB choses language of user to display the correct version?
Can you maybe check to see?

    Hi,

Could you please send the link of the page where the Facebook Feed is published?

Do you use any plugin which allows you to create a bilingual or multilingual WordPress site, for example, Polylang?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    This is the page:
    https://www.caring4mobility.org/en/blog/

Sometimes it shows up in English other times in Dutch. Ofcourse we would like it to show up in the correct language on the correct page…

We use qtranslate for our site.

    Hi,

We are sorry for the late reply.
Please note that there are only German language po and mo files in /languages folder. Please see the screenshot.

You should create also po and mo files for Dutch and translate the words into Dutch. Please check the following article for that.

Please let us know if the information helps.

    Thank you!

Thanks for your reply but this is too complicated for me.
I am using a plugin for the FB feed and just don’t understand why it does not show up in the correct language.

    Hi,

It’s set to English (United States)
If you check the page https://www.caring4mobility.org/blog/ you will see the FB blog shows up in either English or Dutch (Nederlands) if you switch language of the page it remains in the samen language.
The strange thing is it can be showing up in English and you switch language it remains English but if you sign in later it could well be both are showing in Dutch (Nederlands).

    It beats me…

    Hi,

Please insert the following po and the following mo files into wp-content\plugins\wd-facebook-feed\languages folder and translate via Poedit.

Please let us know if it helps.

    Thank you!

    Thanks again Kim,
However I’m not sure you understand what I need. The website doesn’t need to be translated. I need the correct version of mij FB showing up in the feed. The FB is already in both Dutch and English as well.

    Hi,

Probably, the issue is related because of Q-translate plugin. I am testing on my site, and it does not work properly. I am getting errors related to this Plugin. Please note that plugin is not up-to-date, check the following screenshot.

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!
