Bilingual site using Quality theme

    I’m trying to implement a bilingual site using the Quality theme. I’ve got most of it down, using the Polylang plugin. The home page, however, is causing me trouble.

    Using Appearance –> Customize –> Static Front Page, I have set my home page to my welcome page in French. I now don’t know how to set the home page to English if the language changer is clicked.

    Any suggestions on creating a multilingual site with the Quality theme, either using Polylang or other?

  • Fortunately, this theme is free and sources readable in repository…
    After a very short test, we observe that this theme has his own way to manage frontpage. So to manage this complex and rich page, you must customize via a child theme the behaviour according current language.
    To conclude Quality theme needs quality adaptations to become a real time multilingual theme. dev.xiligroup provides some examples based on bundled themes like : https://github.com/dev-xiligroup/twentyfourteen-xili

    I have the same problem with my Full Frame Pro theme and I am also using Polylang plugin.
    If possible I’d like to get step by step instructions to solve this issue.

    Any help is highly appreciate.
