Bilingual posting

    I have been prowling around the net for a while, searching for a plugin which suits my needs, but I have been unable to find one. This is my situation:

    I write moste articles in Swedish, but I plan on writing more in english. I will not translate posts into more than one language, which renders most plugins out there of no use to me. Instead, I want to post certain types of articles (blogging for examlpe) in Swedish and certan others (various projects) in English.

    Since most people in Sweden can also understand English, I am not interested in a plugin which merely chooses between Language A or Language B, but rather a plugin which lets the visitor choose which language to view, the default being viewing everything without consideration to language. International visitors should then be able to disable viewing of any posts in Swedish.

    Most bilingual plugins out there handle only the contents of the posts and let one choose efficiently between viewing a certain post in either language. What I like is to choose which posts are being viewed on the basis of the visito’s preference.

    I hope I have made myself clear and that someone might be able to help me out.

    I am a WP newbie and in need of the same thing that descrive.

    A simple solution would just to use categories. A Language category with sub-categories Swedish and English. The user can then easily select posts with their language category of choice.

    What do you think?
