Bigger featured images

  • Hello to everybody.
    In my home page (hueman theme) there is a featured image bigger then default: 996px × 470px.
    When I upload an image it appears “grainy” (i think because its size is 720px × 340px).
    Is it possible upload and resize an image at 996px × 470px and use it as featured?

    I solved.
    Add custom size image in function.php then change content-featured.php with new image size.
