ChatGPT utilizes a text/event-stream to transmit information and promptly responds, providing an excellent user experience.

However, your chatbot currently waits for ChatGPT to provide the complete content before displaying it, resulting in a delay of 6-12 seconds before any content is visible to the user.

Can you please address this issue to provide an immediate and better user experience? Your chatbot looks great, and I hope this issue can be resolved.

2nd thing, can u full copy the chatgpt bot? it is great design and worth to learn like:
1 on mobile, enter to new line , on pc, your bot is right

2 give option to modify promot like chatgpt

3 give option to Regenerate response

4 show promot sample or tips on new chat, when user chat, they will removed like chatgpt did. it give more friendly.

by those , your chat bot will be come real chat bot not just toy.

    Hi @chatok,

I actually talked about this on those forums before, but somehow I can’t find the discussion anymore.

They can, because they tap directly on the OpenAI API, right from the client. I can’t do this; otherwise, anybody could take away your key, and use it from your site, and do whatever they like with your account.

Not only this, but AI Engine wouldn’t be able to have any feature; like embeddings, various parameters, the logging wouldn’t really work neither.

The only way would be to have a steam on both sides, but with PHP and WordPress, it would not work well, there are way too many limitations.

That said, I am thinking of bringing that feature someday with a special version of the chat (very much like ChatGPT) directly in the WordPress Admin, for the… admins ??

    Hi @chatok,

But why would they use your system if they could do it with ChatGPT? ?? You can’t beat ChatGPT at being ChatGPT, because simply, ChatGPT is made by OpenAI. They craft their ChatGPT constantly to be ChatGPT.

I could spend 2 days working on this, but nobody asked for it; it’s too much work for only one advantage, and there will be at least 100 cons (I mean, all the features that make having your own AI in your WordPress will vanish).

But why it is so slow on your side? Are you using the Turbo Model? 10s is a lot.

Is it not evident that this is a significant improvement? Yes, Turbo, lot of prompts may take 15 seconds, that is normal.

Why would this improvement remove the features that allow you to have your own AI? Could there not be an option to choose?

I am uncertain why others have not asked this. Perhaps they do not use it as a work tool and only see it as a toy.

My website receives 300 visitors each day, and only a few have reported that it is slow. However, the longer they use it, the more likely they will encounter problems.

Embeddings, takeover, logging, limitations, etc, etc. All the features will go away. Also, to make it perfect and really fast, the request should go straight to the API, and you should make your API key public; would be cool if they have a way to limit the requests from one domain but they don’t have that.

Yeah, so it’s difficult; this is why nobody is asking ??

If you want don’t need any feature, you could integrate the OpenAI API directly with just a bit of JS, that would work too ??
