big ping problems – since 2.3.1?

I updated to 2.3.1 and everything on my blog felt fine until I suddenly realized some subtle weird problems. I can’t say that it is because of the update, because I can’t say if the problems occured before or only after, because I was travelling for 3 months and let the blog do automatic – posts. When I came back, foolishly not checking everything first, I update immediately.

My blog is in german an located at https://www.uiuiuiuiuiuiui.de (yes, that’s a german word).

I asked on the german wordpress forum, but nobody seems to be able to help. Here’s a breakdown of events:

I have the following ping-services listed:
https://rpc.pingomatic.com/
https://ping.wordblog.de/
https://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2
https://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping
https://api.my.yahoo.com/RPC2
https://xmlrpc.blogg.de/
https://ping.blogstart.de/

– First I noticed that ping.wordblog.de doesn’t react to a new post.
– Then I noticed that technorati doesn’t update my site anymore
– and lastly I noticed, that the YiGGer (a plugin for yigg.de,the german equivalent to digg) doesn’t work and put my entries on yigg.

So I thought, maybe I listed the ping-services wrong after the update (I deleted one), but I double checked and the seemed okay.

then I thought, that maybe an update of a plugin makes the problems, but when i de-activated all plugins and made a post it still didn’t appear. Here’s the plug-ins I have:

then I thought, maybe – I don’t know why – the problem is a javascript I put in a text-widget in the sidebar. It is from blogfever.de and it shows Headlines from other blogs on my site.

I erased it again, but the problem still existed. No ping service works. But suddenly the YiGG-plugin works again and my posts appear on yigg. How on earth can that be related? In the end, I’d rather like to put the blogfever-widget back, though.

What could the solution possibly be? Do I have to make another back-up an re-install the old version 2.2.1.?
