• I’ve finally completed my blog design at https://mudbomb.com. I was going for something “different” using the “Frank Blue” style, HEAVILY-modified.
Let me know what you think ??

  • Unusal colour choice makes this blog really stand out… it looks fantastic and it looks like no other. Content is entertaining too. Well done.

    I like that too !
If you wanted to alter the search box (this is not a suggestion, more a case of where the info is) then check out part #3 of https://www.mfr.f2s.com/graphicalcss/menu/index.html

Oh Wow!. It is almost impossible to be really original but you have done. Brilliant stuff. Congratulations and Welcome.

    Very original, congratulations.

One of the perils of such an unusual choice of colours is that some will love it and some will hate it. I, unfortunately, belong to the second category, sorry. It’s very well done, but the colours are just not to my taste.
The content, however, is rather funny ??

Uhm… footer is about 40px smaller then the width of other 2 columns (and the header). Dunno if it’s on purpose…

The layout is great but your color scheme hurts my eyes just a little bit. The words on the other hand, are quite funny.

The colors on your site are striking! It might not work for everyone, but it certainly makes a different impression, and creates the desire to go back.
I’ve just borrowed your background image. Let me know if you have a problem, and I’ll find a modified version.

Joe – nice site. Good clean look. I too don’t care for the colors, but it’s just not me that’s all. With the background, it looks like I should be putting for birdie on the back nine some where!
At any rate, one thing that I noticed, your links right under the search box are toast. They are squished up, looks like to the width of the “Go” button that’s there. Might want to take a look at your div tags and make sure it’s OK. Oh, I’m using FF0.8 btw.

I fixed the problem. This appears to be some sort of bug in Mozilla, as all tags are correct and the page is fine in Opera and IE . Mozilla hoses the links under the search box when the
tag is removed between the textarea and the button in the search form. I fixed it by adding a new
    after the form.
    Thanks for the heads-up, TechGnome.
