Big issue from a newbie

So this is going to be a tough one. I am a total newbie and I know nothing of wordpress, IT, coding etc. I am running a law club in my university and needed to make a website for it. I found a video on the internet and did it mot-a-mot with the guy who shot them, but in the end i scr**ed something up. Somehow I tried do get rid of the /wp from the domain and I accidentaly got two websites.
One is https://www.law-club.org/wp/ (in which i included some content), the other is https://www.law-club.org. Now the problem is that I cannot access the second one. I don’t even remember how i managed to get rid of the /wp. When I click “forgotten password” and write my e-mail, it tells me that such an e-mail doesn’t exist. Which cannot be possible, as I’m using it on the first site and I get all the information on it. How can I fix that…
