Big Bug with Double Opt-In (DOI)

Hello,
I recognized, that there is a big big within the Plugin.
As a paying customer, I’ve had already contact with the support, but I also want to inform you directly about this.I’ve had all checkboxes enabled, including Checkbox for the customer and Double Opt-In:
[x] Enable Subscription
Subscribe Event: Order Created
[x] Enable Match Attributes
[x] Enable Double Opt-In
[x] Display an Opt-In Field at Checkout
Opt-In Checkbox Default Status: Unchecked
Opt-In Checkbox Display Location: BillingWhen a customer is registering for the newsletter via checkout and the email address is already in the connected Sendinblue account (but not in the connected list!):
– the customer is added to the newsletter list immediately
– without DOI email (and with an empty DOI field in SIB)
– and even when the newsletter checkbox at checkout has not been checked by the customer!Via the WordPress-SIB-Plugin the Double Opt-In process works fine, even for already existing contacts.
It would be nice to get a fix soon.
