Apologies for the delayed reply. First of all, Our Pro plugin’s Business and Unlimited license has an addon called “Credit Card Auto Debit” using which auto debit can happen. This addon works with Stripe and what it does is that it lets you collect credit card details on registration page, stores that customer information on Stripe server and once admin adds auction and when auction expires with a winner then automatically debits the winning amount from winner’s credit card and transfer’s it to admin’s stripe account.
With regards to your question, the steps at checkout is necessary because at the checkout, admin might take taxes, shipping charges and winner has to provide his delivery address based on which admin will ship the product. So, you need checkout page to take these things into account.
