Bidding payments not working

    For some reason whenever I try to pay after I win a auction the payment is taken off my account but it still says I havn’t paid. The postmeta table isn’t updated either.

    The payments work just fine when I use the insta buy button but if i try to use the link send to me by email after winning a auction I get nothing. No confirmation message when I get send back from the paypal page either. Simply nothing happens besides the money being taken from my sandbox account.

    Any idea what is causing this? If you need any type of logs/info just message me

    Hi,

    You wont get a confirmation message because we haven’t coded it. Ideally what should happen is below:

    1. Final bidder should receive email with paypal link
    2. Bidder clicks the link and is taken to paypal
    3. He makes payment and is redirected back to dedicated auction page.

    Is last step happening to you?

    Yes, everything works fine until the point that they get back. Unlike with the buy-now button they get no confirmation pop-up. And nothing seems to get updated in the postmeta either. Could this be because I’m working on a localhost? Its odd that the buy now version works though

    And I would like to add that the user can keep paying again and again basically. So the money is taken of the account each time

    So am I going to get support? :/ I’ve tried it on two different webservers but its just not working, no status is updated at all. Is this simply part of this plugin or what?

    Sorry for delayed response.

    Firstly, I wrote 3 steps in my earlier response and reading your response after it, it seems that you are not receiving emails. Are you? Please confirm.

    I just told you multiple times, I do get the emails. But after the payments and the user gets send back to the website. Nothing is updated in the auction.
    So a user will get a email, pay, return to the site, nothing happens.

    Hi,

    Sorry but it wasn’t clear from your replies. Now, since nothing is happening, have you configured what is mentioned inside Payment -> Paypal -> Mandatory settings. Click the “How to do these settings?”

    You basically have to set return url and PDT inside your paypal account.
