Hi, I want my users to be able to increment with 0,25 hower the system keeps going back to 1. Isn’t it possible for low amounts?

  • Hi @katfrajoe,

With the current version, the minimum value for the bid increment is 1 so you can not add a bid increment lower than 1.

We will update the plugin regarding the lower bid amount and release the next version soon.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank You

We have released an update where you can have increment as low as 0.1. Please test and let us know.

I updated the plugin, I can enter a decimal number in the backend. But the frontend only accepts min 1.

Sadly nothing changed after updating the plugin

    Hi @katfrajoe,

First, we tell you how the latest fix will work. Please review the below test-case

    1) Admin creates an auction product with an Opening Price: $45, Reserve Price: $45, and Bid Increment : $0.25
    2) Bidder places a bid of $45 and the current bid is $45. Bid increased to $45.25.
    3) Next bidder can place a bid of $45.25 or more.
    4) Second bidder placed a bid of $45.25. The current bid is $45.25. Bid increased to $45.50.
    5) This is how the bid increment works for a decimal amount.
    6) We have recorded a video for this process. Please review it.

We have read your below query.

“I updated the plugin, I can enter a decimal number in the backend. But the front end only accepts min 1.”

The bid increases according to the bid increment value and the bid is placed in decimal value on the front end. We don’t exactly know what you mean to say. We suggest that you please share your test case like the above. Also, record a video of your issue and share it with us. So, we will get a clear idea about your issue and we will give a proper solution.

Note: Make sure there is no caching plugin activated on your site. Otherwise, it will create an issue.

    Thank You

Looks like it was a caching problem, it is working at the moment. Thanks for the quick updates!
