BGES v4.2.0 causes redirection error on group email save changes

    Hi. I have just installed v4.2.0 of BGES. We have observed that when we go to the Group “Welcome Email” management page, saving those settings results in a 404 error.

    The settings are saved ok, but the request is redirected to an incorrect url.

    e.g. when changing settings in our Staff group on this URL :

    https://www.mysite.com/groups/staff/admin/notifications/

    The changes are saved, but then a redirect attempts to send the browser to :

    https://www.mysite.com/groups/admin/notifications/

    The same happens if I try to send a group wide message from the same page. This happens for all groups.

    Config:
    WP 6.3.2
    PHP 8.0
    BGES 4.2.0
    Buddyboss Platform: v2.4.60

    Any help much appreciated. -C

    Thanks for the report. In my tests I was unable to reproduce this issue. However, there have been some minor changes to the way that the BP 12.0 URL compatibility layer since the 4.2.0 release, and this layer is involved in the way that the redirect URLs are created after the actions you describe. I’ve just released version 4.2.1 of the plugin, containing these changes. It may fix the issue for you.

    Hi @boone, thank you for the fast turn around. Unfortunately, that hasn’t fixed it. I’ll do some more digging tomorrow on our test system.
