    We don’t have such problem, but someone had it and disabled wp_cron to fix it.

    Hi there

    I was wondering if there has been any progress resolving this issue. Having the same exact problem with dupe e-mails. The solution of disabling the cronjob and setting it up manually doesn’t work for me exactly as we have a welcome e-mail sent with the same plugin and we want the user to receive the welcome e-mail immediately after registration. Obviously we could custom code something additionally or use an alternative plugin to send the welcome e-mail but that seems too dirty.

    Just checking in, if there has been any updates on this issue as I also like the plugin and would really like to continue using it for this project.

    The welcome email will be received immediately even if you disable WP_CRON.
    There is no other solution than disabling WP_CRON.

    Once in a while we receive reports from users who have this problem. If someone still has it please provide me admin login so we can investigate it. We can’t reproduce the problem on all our installs and apparently most users do not have it. So the only way to resolve this would be someone who has the problem to give me access.

    We made an attempt to resolve this now, please everyone who had the issue update to 2.2.3.1

    Arigato still sends email twice. Any fix on this? I could give you the login details if wanted. Whats yr email?

    I can’t find solution except disabling WP Cron.
    If even this doesn’t work, choose the option to run real cron job from the Settings page:

    “I will set up a cron job to send my autoresponder emails.”

    Thought about some default wp mail function that is interfering?

    I think WP runs the init procedure of the plugin twice for some reason, and does it so fast that the uniqueness queries don’t work. It’s absolute mystery, I simply can’t figure it out or find a way to avoid it. Happens only on some installs.

    Thats a shame. Did you try disabling other plugins? Did you try different WP versions? It should be able to figure this out right?
    I’d really like to use this plugin, but not if it sends twice the emails of course.. anyway.. appreciate your effort.

    As you can see from the above discussion I could never reproduce this on any on our installs. So how can I solve it? No way. If you choose the “cron job mode” from the settings page and setup a real cron job it should work fine. If not you’ll need to choose another plugin. I can’t fix something that I can’t reproduce.
