Beware of updating WP/WooCommerce

  • Lots of unresolved support threads and author’s website has been down for weeks.

    Too many people reporting issues with latest versions of WP and WooCommerce to trust updating anything yet. Developer has seemingly vanished without a trace so I don’t know when we can expect this plugin to get fixed.

    Looks like we may need to move on to a new plugin.

    UPDATE:

    I finally reached the developer via his Twitter account and then by email. He explained he was having personal issues and did not know when he’d be getting back to this project.

  • Thanks for this report and update. Any word on this developer? I’ve downloaded this and installed it with no issues on WP v4. I’m going to set it up and see how it works on the frontend checkout before we go live. If you can, let him know there is still interest. I wouldn’t mind even paying a small fee for it because I’d like to not have to spend $79 per woothemes authorize.net license if I don’t have to. Let us know here!
