• This plugin causes more issues than it was worth. To even get access to features to test if they are compatible with your website, you must pay for the pro-version. Upon paying for this version, you will find the calculator is riddled with errors such as options selected in the backend not displaying in the front end, clash with plugins that renders the calculator inoperable or adding features in the backend that wipes the calculator as a whole so you must start over. [redacted], one of the lead technicians, becomes rude and condescending when he deems the problem no longer worth his time to solve, and spent more time breaking things within our website than he did fixing his own plugin. I would NOT recommend spending any money on this plugin unless you can get ahead of time approval that this will absolutely work on your website. It was a waste of money and time, especially now that we’ve had to pay our actual website developers to fix the many issues they created when troubleshooting their plugin.

Edited to Add: The developer reached out to me and asked me to remove this review without providing a fix for the issue or making the plugin usable for me. Be aware that the reason this plugin has such good reviews is likely because the developer is asking those that leave bad ones to remove them.

@kp3t3z I removed the name of the tech. Please don’t call people out by name like that, it can be construed as a personal attack which is not permitted here. The rest of your review has not been edited.

    Hi,

It’s very unfortunate that we were unable to get the plugin running on your site. I spent 5.2 hours myself on the site, and two of my senior developers are also spent about an hour or two each. We came to the conclusion that your site is just not in a healthy state. Your PHP version was outdated, your theme files and most plugins were outdated. You had three caches activated at once, a big no-no. You also had 27 javascript errors on your site, even with our plugin deactivated.

I fixed a JS problem with your theme, the page transition feature that was using outdated JS code no longer used by browsers. I turned off the other 2 cache plugins and configured one to work properly. This is out-of-scope for our tech support, but I did it was a courtesy goodwill gesture.

I also fixed a setting (with a unique) plugin you had for ‘multiple locations’. This plugin automatically overrides every button on your site with the intention of asking the user which ‘location’ they are physically closer to. This plugin had a feature that you needed to configure to only work on pages like the ‘contact us’ page and other relevant pages. It shouldn’t be activated globally since it can cause problems. Anyways, I fixed this as a goodwill gesture.

At the end of the day, we have thousands of users who use the plugin and are happy, if anyone else is reading, you’re more than welcome to try it out and send us a support message if you’re having any difficulties.
