Hi – I’ve only upgraded on our test site so far, but on our Buddyboss theme user dashboard page the “My courses” link doesn’t work anymore with the betterdocs update. It only returns Betterdocs help documents and index. Here’s the actual link for the “My courses” item on the dashboard: https://www.test.myspiritualtransformation.com/courses/?current_page=1&search=&type=my-courses

the link above works when I deactivate betterdocs.

I’ve taken off the “coming soon” page on the test site for now so that you can see it. Even if you’re not logged in to the site, clicking on the “My courses” block should return a list of courses (but it doesn’t).

the site is hosted on Siteground, gogeek plan. I’ve searched the forum and haven’t found anything on this topic.

I won’t do the betterdocs update on our live site until I know that it’s working – hope you can help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @melanyh

Extremely sorry for the delayed response please accept my apologies.

We have created a fix regarding the recent issues. Please kindly update BetterDocs from the below link

    BetterDocs Dev:?https://d.pr/f/PHak27

After that please rest the permalink To rest the Permalink please check this video :?https://d.pr/v/lGOjg5
And please check the BetterDocs custom category slug and the custom tag slug from WordPress Dashboard -> BetterDocs -> Settings -> General and make sure it’s not only category and tag. For reference please check this screencast –?https://d.pr/v/kanMeB And please make sure to save the settings

After doing this please check the issue again.
Again we apologize for the inconvenience

Let me know how it goes

    Thanks

hi Pial – thank you, this solved the courses list problem! I’ve run into another issue though. I’ve set a page called “Help” as the docs page, and inserted a Betterdocs shortcode on the page. The page is created with Elementor pagebuilder. Now when I go to view the page, there’s a 404 page not found error on the test site. And I can only edit the page in Elementor in safe mode, even when I delete the Betterdocs shortcode.

Here’s the test Help page with the updated betterdocs plugin: https://www.test.myspiritualtransformation.com/help/

And here’s the live site using betterdocs v.2.3.7: https://www.myspiritualtransformation.com/help/

Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Thanks, this seems to have worked. I also did an update of the buddyboss theme on the test site and suddenly the blog sidebar appeared on the help page and I couldn’t delete from theme options! However, I’ve hidden it using some CSS, so I think we’re all good now.

I’m going to see how it goes for the next couple of days and then go live if there are no further issues. I’ll keep this thread open until then.

Thanks so much for your quick replies and help – much appreciated.
