Betterdocs Page Background Colour

You can easily change the background color of the Betterdocs content area from Appearance > Customize > BetterDocs > Docs Page > Content Area Background Color > From here, you can change the color > Update. Please check this screencast to get the detail: https://d.pr/v/l298B2

But if you want to change the color of the page wrapper (whole page that includes header, content, footer, etc.) then I am really sorry to say that, currently we don’t have this option to set a background color for the BetterDocs pages only.

Thank you very much for replying so quickly.

If I can’t change the colour of the page wrapper via Betterdocs itself, maybe I can do it via Elementor/widgets.

Can you please tell me if there is a widget for the accordion/docs page?

Unfortunately, all I see are the following 4 widgets:

Doc Search Form, Betterdocs Category Grid, Betterdocs Category Box, and Betterdocs FAQ.

If you use Elementor page builder to create the docs template, then you can easily change the color of the whole page from the Page settings > Style > Background. Please check this screencast that I created for you to show the detail: https://d.pr/v/gLa0va

You can easily create a docs page template by using the BetterDocs ready blocks. Simply just drag & drop them on your Elementor Editor and style them any way you want. There are a few widgets for the Docs page i.e. Doc search form, BetterDocs Category Box, BetterDocs Category Grid, and BetterDocs FAQ. You can check all widgets here: https://d.pr/i/OKRgns?

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my query.

Regarding the ‘accordion’: I was using the wrong term for the block/widget!

I realise now that what I thought was a separate Category accordion widget is actually a Category Grid/Box widget set to appear in one column.
