[Better WP Security] Locked out and now Site returns just "Error"

  • Hey there!

    Something strange happened. My Site: https://www.wakeboardwinch.net

    I installed the Plugin Better WP Security and followed the instruction to change the admin username. Then I had to login again which didn’t work.

    After a couple of attempts I got locked out and notified per email. Now I just see a plain error when trying to reach the site.

    How can I get back in?

    Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

  • Can you access FTP? You can try to disable the Better WP Security plugin simply by renaming the folder:

    FROM
    /wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/

    TO
    /wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security-off/
