Recently I have added the AMP-plugin to my site https://www.magoster.nl in order to accelerate mobile access.

Do I have to change settings in order to get the blog-url/amp in my sitemap or will this be done automatically.

    Kind regards, Rudolph Smits

  • When you added the AMP Plugin:
contain a <link rel=”canonical” href=”$SOME_URL” /> tag inside their head that points to the regular HTML version of the AMP HTML document or to itself if no such HTML version exists.
So instead of using href=”#”, you should have it point to itself in order to stay consistent with the AMP specifications.
So I think you no need chane settings in your sitemap
    Example:
    Here is my site:
    https://cuacuonnhanhmaviflex.vn/?amp
    It has <link rel=’canonical’ href=’https://cuacuonnhanhmaviflex.vn&#8217; />

Thanks for your answer. I found that the site did not generate amp-pages at all. The site had an Internal server error. On internet I was advised to rename the .htaccess file and generate a new one. It solved the Internal server error and more, amp-pages were now generated.

So it had nothing to do with amp of Google. I am now waiting for Google to index those AMP-blog versions.
