Better than the rest.

  • I love this plugin because it has some unique blocks not found elsewhere.

    – Love the idea of having the ability to include sound for the background videos of the section block – I just hope they would add the feature to include YouTube videos and not only self hosted videos.

    – The way the alignments work at least in the Section block is very messed up, and creates issues for those who don’t know how things work… Let me give you an example. In the Section block if I set the alignment to Wide, Getwid instead of simply adding the alignwide class on the actual front end code, adds the alignwide CSS class in the Advanced tab of the editor, and then it gets displayed on the front. Now if you edit the block, and change the alignment from wide to full, Getwid does not remove the alignwide from the Advanced tab, but now it also adds the alignfull class, which causes all sorts of issues.

    – Does not work with the Block CSS plugin. Getwid is the only plugin that I tested that did not work with Block CSS.

    By fixing the issues, Getwid easily becomes a 5 star plugin, and even with the issues I mention anything less than 4 stars would be unfair.

    3. I’ve replicated the case when styles added via Block CSS plugin are not reflected on the front-end. We’ll review this compatibility. Thanks.
