Better Text Editor Plugin?

  • Hi,
    My knowledge of HTML is basic and I just want to be able to write posts in an editor that can change simple things like font size and colour. Is there a basic plugin anywhere that can provide this kind of function?

  • Nah, but get WindowsLiveWriter – it does all of that and more.

    It’s beta, and it’s MS. If that makes you not happy, then get the Performancing extension for Firefox.

    [I’ve used both; I like both. I like the WLW a LOT better than the FF extension. I can’t even decide exactly what I like better at this point; the overall “feelies” are just better I guess….]

    Yes. Try ExtendedTinyMCE. It adds loads of wordprocessor-like options. I like it alot. (TinyMCE seems to be built in to WP 2 — so just add the Extensions and Bob’s Your Uncle ??
