Better search with AMP compayibility and woocommerce product support

    We want to show search results on certain woocommerce category and woocommerce product pages. Can I show or restrict results on certain categories only?

    Is it fully compatible with AMP plugins, please confirm?

    You can’t do that unfortunately without massive coding changes for WooCommerce.

    https://gist.github.com/ajaydsouza/767215093a24bafb903a#file-bsearch-meta-field-php allows searching into meta fields if you need advanced usage.

    I haven’t tested this with AMP plugins in partcular. Is there a specific issue you see?

    Unfortunately, this plugin won’t be able to work with WC without extensive customisation.

    I don’t think AMP compatibility will be an issue but I can’t confirm that.

    You might need to look at options like SearchWP which has extensions specific for WC.
