Better search features and navigation

Hi, I’m currently using the default kubrick theme on my site, https://www.whataweenie.com

What I would like to do, since I am beginning to have a lot of content, is to improve the navigation and search features to make it easier for users to find stuff. I replaced the original search box code with the google search box code (mistake) and lost it…

Hopefully there are some plugins out there that someone could recommend or maybe it’s easier than I think it will be to do it manually and you could walk me through it? I appreciate the help!
