• Can we have a better way to select posts and display them, which does not involve programming? For example:

    • Select posts based on queries on custom fields
    • Select what to display from each post (eg. title, content, custom fields, author etc)
    • And then various options to sort on any field(s), how to format each post, where to display the results (attached to existing posts, or using shortcodes).

There are a number of modules which go some way towards this, but it would be good to have one module. Drupal uses a fairly good add-on called “Views”.

    Hey @iantresman,

When you say modules I think in WordPress we talk about plugins. To achieve what you’re talking about I would look at Pods to make the custom posts. If you’re set on having everything in one plugin, then Pods is what you want. However, something like Tailor or Conductor will be a great add on to organise the display of the information.

Thanks for that, I’ve looked at Pods, and it is pretty good, but I’ll investigate Tailor and Conductor too.
