Better HTML editor?

  • One of the things that has bugged me since day 1 is the HTML editor included in wordpress. The WYSIWYG works great, but sometimes one needs more control.

    Is there a way or a plug in to make the HTML editor:

    1. save my spacing. it’s a pain in the ass to press the HTML button and see that mess, even when I’ve originally spaced everything neatly.

    2. Support more HTML tags. It seems very limited.

    3. (this is asking for two much, so just the first two will do) support in-line CSS
