• … very sad Update!!!!
I tried it out and they changed a lot of the displaying code.
It is not 100% compatible to V2.4. Some functions wont work any more.
So I decided to go back to v2.4.

  • Can you do that? I tried to get another Google Calendar plug-in, and it wouldn’t work using the API, so I thought maybe you can’t run two calendars using the same API. Shut down the Simply Stupid version and it still didn’t work. How can one go back to the old calendar?

Hi Steve, when I went back to the older version my calendars were gone.
I am not sure but I think they renamed the table names in the wordpress database.
Cause I was to lazy I just played back a backup of my wordpress database.
After this everything with the google calendar plugin was as perfect as before.
    Hope I could help you?

We admit we didn’t take enough precaution here and issued an update that broke backwards compatibility a bit too swiftly, and we apologize.

Please see this post for more details.

Sorry to not update, but I was able to fix the calendar issue, and the only thing the client is still bothered by, is the sparseness of the new look, with smaller font, I guess, but it doesn’t have the warmth/readability that it used to have.

    Steve
