better approaches these days

  • This plugin works but there are privacy concerns with using google captcha.

    Given there are better ways of stopping spam these days (google javascript nonces). I’d avoid

  • If you have a privacy issue with google, solve it with google. Don’t drag a perfectly functioning plugin down based on your beliefs.

    @bokorben My main point is there are far better alternatives than this plugin, and captchas in general (which are outmoded).

    Capchas are a poor user experience, and totally unnecessary these days when JavaScript nonces are just as effective.

    In addition to my main point this plugin creates a privacy problem that I personally am uncomfortable with (and IMO you should be too)

    So you say the plugin works but gave it a 1 star because you don’t agree with Google’s policies which has nothing to do with the functionality of how this plugin was made. Write a review to Google, not here.

    Why hasn’t this review been deleted by the mods?
