Beta version 4.04

  • Have just updated Beta ver. 4.03 to version 4.04 – no issues.
    I am pleased to note that when updating I have no permissions problem with the attachments folder. This removes the need to reset the attachments permissions via FTP, which has occurred with every update of version 3 including ver. 3.1.9.2.
    A final question: could the folder not be named fs-contact-form? I always forget and automatically look for this name.

    It’s not a problem for me, but I don’t understand why the slug (and folder name) can’t be changed. Is it because it’s now in the repository, and once in, it can’t be changed? Or is it because of some type of compatibility? Thanks.

    The plugin slug cannot be changed without making a new plugin. Not going to do that, I would lose the 4 million downloads history and all the URL links to my plugin would change.

    When I made the plugin I did not really know it was going to get 4 million downloads. I think I changed the plugin name at one point early on

    Right! It’s not a problem at all with functionality, just one of those picky little things that bug people who are into elegant perfection, that ever elusive goal. ??
