    WP Persistent Login 2.0.0 is nearly ready for release!

    I’m looking for beta testers to install and test out the latest version of the plugin and report back any issues you may find.

    I’ve completed my own testing of the plugin, but testing on different environments is always the best way to weed out any issues. To be a beta tester, you must have the premium version of WP Persistent Login installed.

    To join the beta program:

    1. In your WP Admin area: Visit Persistent Login > Account.
    2. Tick the ‘join beta programme’ box
    3. Update your plugin to the latest version and test!

    Version 2.0.0 of the plugin has lots of exciting new features, including:

    • An entirely re-written plugin in OOP format for improved speed and reliability
    • An Improved WP Admin interface
    • Active Logins to restrict the number of concurrent logins to one per user
    • Improved WooCommerce Support – persistent login is enabled by default when users register
    • The settings page has moved to the Users menu

    Premium users also get a lot of new features:

    • Control the number of active logins allowed
    • Control which user roles the active logins limit applies to
    • Control the logic when users reach the active login limit – auto logout a session or allow the user to select which logins to end
    • New Block: Maximum Logins Control lets your users decide which logins to end when they reach their limit
