I’ve been asking for assistance with the copy/recurring functionality but have not received timely (or useful) replies as yet. When it’s ready, that functionality will be listed at the top of the announcement.

    Eran

Hello, i really need this plugin to work, it would solve everything i need to do right now. I’m getting this error with this version:

Uncaught TypeError: Object function (selector, context){return new jQuery.prototype.init(selector,context);} has no method ‘eventDialog’

I really don’t know what’s not working, it be really great if you could help me out…

    Thanx!

Please provide more detail about how you arrive at this error.
    Also, what’s the blog URL?

    Eran

Hi, thanx for the reply. Unfortunaly though, the blog it’s on local machine right now…

I can’t help you if you don’t tell me a little more about how you arrived at this error. Perhaps we can start there.

    Hi Eran,

Your plug-in has helped us tremendously in terms of managing and displaying events. Thank you!

One question about this beta release: does the mouse-wheel feature allows you to scroll through several months without a refresh? It will be nice to be able to jump to a particular month without having to fresh each month using the next> button (may be in future releases?).

    thx!

this is a beta release and anyone can translate this plugin, indeed, I would encourage you to make corrections to the translations and email them to me.

Of course, Eran, but I see that there is already a translator so my warning was for him because what I’ve written is a typo that can pass unobserved.
I’m sure that he will update translation successfully.
In case he doesn’t want anymore or doesn’t has time, I’ll be happy to update it, just let me know.
Also, I tried to edit .po file with poEdit but it’s impossible to open it, very weird, I usually do it without problems.
In any case, thanks a lot for your work, AEC is very useful, miss only minicalendar ??

@fchang: Yes, the mousewheel code will allow you to quickly scroll between months without unnecessary data refresh.
@macitaly: the minicalendar is currently on the backburner, for now, I am concentrating on recurring events.

    Eran

I like the changes… good job.

In the event form, the duration box is being partially covered by the Event Link box.

Thank you for this great calendar, it’s fantastic. I am using it as a calendar on one page and a roster on another page. I would like to display one category “events” on one page and another category only “roster” on a different page. I have put the short code [calendar category=’events’] on one page and [calendar category=’roster’] on another but they are both showing both categories. I hope I am making sense. My understanding was that I can show only 1 category, have I used the wrong code?

    Thanks for your assistance

    1. This only works if you are using the beta version.
    2. Check out the description of the functionality more closely, you have to use the category id, not the name.

    Eran

Thank you for your speedy reply, Eran. I am using the new beta version. I have tried [calendar categories=”1″] and [calendar categories=”2″]with no luck. I’m sure it’s staring me right in the face, I just can’t see where I get the category id from.

    (@eranmiller)

I may be stating the obvious, but did you make sure those are the category ids? Check the calendar categories page. There is a number next to each category in a grey box. If it still doesn’t work, post your url and I’ll look at it tomorrow to see if I can glean any further insight.

    Thanks,
    Eran

I’m an absolute idiot, sorry for wasting your time. I downloaded the beta plugin but re-installed the previous version. I’m very embarrassed! It works perfectly, thank you for work on this plugin, it’s perfect

    Hi Eran,

Back to my previous question about jumping to a specific month, is there plan to do this in the calendar interface (in addition to the mouse wheel) anytime soon?

Also a noob question, if I copy the 0.9.9 beta onto my install, could I still do the auto-update thingy in WP when the final version comes out?

    Thanks!
