Best WP Theme for Beginner

  • Hi – I’m currently using the TwentyTen theme but am really struggling. I’m just in the process of trying to set up my first Website which is quite basic. It has a few text pages, a photo page, a blog and banner areas for ads. Can anyone suggest a WP theme which is really easy and flexible to use, not only for a beginner of WordPress but also to building Websites. I also need it to be able to display different ads on each page I create.

  • Let me suggest two that I have used and REALLY like. Please fully read about each before diving into any of them – it just depends on your needs. The first one is called Complexity2 (https://themeforest.net/item/complexity-premium-wordpress-theme/111713) and the second is called Canvas (https://www.woothemes.com/2011/05/canvas/). Both are very customizable but also easy to use. Now each theme has different core admin program but they provide a lot of great and unique options. Both are worth the money that I paid for them and the support is top notch on both. I switched from all HTML websites to WordPress about a year ago and I’m really liking the WordPress program and themes. Just one word of advice though, stay VERY FAR AWAY from wpremix.com. They look good but they charge too much for a bad theme and the support is horrible. Hope this helps.
