best website and blog theme

    Hi I want to create a website and also a blog page with it, as well as the usual contact and about us etc. I realise I can add other pages if I wish.
    It needs to be able to be optimized for mobile browsing and if by some chance it has anything to help with SEO that would be great.
    Whats the most recommended theme thats also reasonably easy to use, that can do this for me, please? Thanks ??

    I recommend Yoast for SEO.

    Thanks for that.. So isnt that a plugin? I will remember that, but what Im looking for first a theme that will give me a static webpage AND a blog page and is good for mobile browsing, but will consider yoast as a plugin, thanks ??

    WordPress allows you to set a static frontpage and also have a blog section, so pretty much all themes would be fine for that. For mobile optimization have a look for ‘responsive’ themes which automatically adjust for the screen size and device. Difficult to recommend specific themes on the limited information you provided, but even the default Twenty Eleven theme is good.
