Best way to preload images?

  • Hi folks…

    I’ve just done my first install of WP2 ??

    Wondering what the best way is to preload images on my site – specifically some rollover gifs on a couple of pages.

    Is there a plugin to do this, or even one to preload a whole page? Or should I just add something manually at the top of my html…

  • Just a question, are you using JavaScript to achieve the roll-over effects?

    No rollovers, just a background:url change on hover. The problem is the images flash slightly the first time you rollover them, after that it’s fine because they’re cached
