    Hello,
I’m trying to find the smoothest way to move from “Synchronized Role option” to the new settings.
It’s not clear for me: for an existing level, if in the “Automation” dropdown I set “Trigger->User role”, would I have the same behaviour as before? Is this a good way?

I read that old levels will hold settings, but I think it could be better to set all in the same way.

Any suggestion welcome, thank U so much

    Hi,

You do not need to changeanything and can ignore the warning message. The synchronized role functionality will be migrated to a new member automation in the next update, and it will continue to work like it does now.

I hope this answers your question

    Thank you so much.
I’ve another little question… what means “when user gets role”?
I’ve created a new level with option ‘whe user gets role xyz’

But when I pick a user ‘subscriber’ and I add him role ‘xyz’ (I manage a multi-role environment) nothing happens..
‘User gets role’ means only unique role? Like ‘changing role’?

    Thx in advance

    Hello,
I saw the warning and configured the mapping with WP roles using the new (beta) field.
The restriction no longer works as expected, accounts with the defined role are still redirected as if they don’t have access.
    2 questions:
Do you know when the next update will be?

Which version should I go back to in order to still use the old way of synchronizing, in the meantime?
