• Hi there,

I am wanting to create a form that a user fills out and once filled out, is forwarded to a WooCommerce product page to pay for a service.

Basically I am looking for a very simple booking/appointment option so users can choose a time, fill out some personal details and then pay for the appointment using WooCommerce (WorldPay), but have found many of the plugins do not work or are very buggy.

Any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

    Many thanks!

Unless I’m misunderstanding your question, this is a very basic thing that every form builder does.

Every form has a field to enter a so-called “Thank You” page URL. This page is so-called because, upon submitting the form, users are sent to this page to thank them for completing the form, and to let them know what to expect next.

But it’s just a URL, any URL will do, and you can put your Woocommerce product page here.

That said, there are other ways to approach your problem though, other than the path you’ve already decided should be the solution.

First, there are many form-builder plugins and even full appointment-booking plugins that support payment. That would negate having to tack on Woocommerce just to handle payments… unless you’re already using Woocomemrce for some other purpose on your site.

Also, there are appointment-booking plugins for Woocommerce. These would handle both the payment and booking inside the Woocommerce checkout process, rather than cobling together an external form and Woocommerce.

Thanks for the reply, that makes sense with the thank you URL and should do what I need.
