I have been trying to set up a membership store that goes as follows:

    1. This is a Digital Marketing store for members only.
    2. There is an Standard fee and a Premium fee with its correspondent products.
    3. I would also like to sell some courses to subscribers (no need to be members).
    4. I work with DIVI Theme.
    5. I also have the Groups plugin from itthinx

Is there a way I can set up my store without the need to have any extra plugins?
This is to say, whether I have enough plugins here to set up my store so the Standard, Premium and just subscribers can purchase the specific products for each group (Standard, Premium & just subscribers). At this point I’m very confused since I purchased the WooCommerce Private Store from Barn2 Media and I not too sure I need it if I have the Groups plugin from itthinx.

Could you please give me a hand on this?

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. The membership fees are monthly fees. The Standard membership purchases a 3 months fee to be renewed every 3 months and the Premium fee is a 2 months fee to be renewed every 2 months.

    Hey @ajna_libera,

When having a membership-based site, I’d recommend using either continuing to use Groups or look into the Memberships plugin, depending on what functionality you need. To see the differences between the two, take a look at this doc.

If you want to sell courses as well, the Sensei plugin is a great option for a site like this.

The membership fees are monthly fees. The Standard membership purchases a 3 months fee to be renewed every 3 months and the Premium fee is a 2 months fee to be renewed every 2 months.

For recurring membership fees, you would need the Subscriptions plugin (or something similar) to accomplish that.

Should you decide that you need both the Memberships and Subscriptions plugins, you can buy them together as part of a discounted bundle on woocommerce.com (with other products included as well). Hope this helps!
