Best way to design an impressive Education related news blog

  • I am currently working on creating an Education Related news blog site. However, having difficulties on deciding what will make it a good attractive site to the end users. Any suggestions??? Also, what do you think on what I have built so far. I will appreciate your feedback and suggestions. Here is the site I am working on.

  • Search bar should be in sidebar, but it is in footer.
    Adsense placement is very worse to have it at bottom, my suggestion goes to place it in top positions.
    About us should too be at the top menu, make sure they should be in a serial row instead of having as you like.
