    Hi everyone,

I am looking for some advice on how to creatively solve a rather complicated bundle-issue. The bundles are to be used on a webpage with downloadable knitting recipes and optional yarn bundles to be bought along with the recipe.

I start out by creating the recipe itself as a non optional product and set the quantity to 1. So far so good.

The main issue is the possible number of yarn options due to the different sizing options. Most recipes includes 7 different sizes that all require a different number of yarn skeins.

I can create those 7 different sizes as optional products and added the correct number of yarn skeins to the specific size.

That will mean that my bundle will have 8 products. The recipe which is non-optional and the possibility to choose yarn for one of the 7 sizes. This might not be visually pretty, but it works alright. Unfortunately it becomes more complicated.

Some recipes use two different yarns. I would then end up with 15 different products, if I followed the procedure as described above. (1 non-optional recepie, 7 sizing options with “yarn 1” and 7 sizing options with “yarn 2”. This is simply too many products and too hard to navigate.

I am trying to figure out a creative way to solve this issue. Can anyone suggest something to simplify this situation?

    Hi @nita01

Thank you for choosing our plugin.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to select multiple products for each item. So you should add an item for each product that user should select.

In case the above explanation can’t help you, please provide us a link to the product and let us know how it should be with a screenshot and we will check it out.

    I hope it helps.

    Best regards
