Best theme for enclosed site setup?

  • Hey everyone,

    New to the forums so I really appreciate all the help we can get. We’re looking to build a website, nothing to fancy, using WordPress. The site consists of four parts: vendor/partner page, forums, blog, and an all encompassing landing page.

    We’re using wordpress or tumblr for the blog, bbpress for the forums, but we’d like to learn from all of you the best for a static, vendor/partner feature page, as well as a landing homepage that pulls data from all of the above. Is there a recommended theme to best customize all of the above? Plugins and widgets?

    We have the logo/design and branding completed as well.

  • Hi terryjoe42, you can check the available themes by filtering your requirements. There are lots of beautiful wordpress theme out there, you surely will find one that suits your requirements.

    Or else, you can customize any basic theme like Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen by making a child theme. WordPress gives you almost every freedom you need to make your own customized website.
