Best Syntax Highlighter Plugin

    We’re needing to add quite a bit of code examples to our site and so are looking for the best code / syntax highlighter.

    Just to clarify I’m referring to displaying code in posts not creating code to actually develop / change the site.

    Are there any syntax highlighters anyone recommends? At the moment I’m tossing up between WP-Syntax and Syntax Highlighter Evolved.

    It seems it’s a bit of a choice between server side or client side.

    We’d also be open to using paste bins – however not too keen on relying on a different server to host our code examples.

    Any recommendations, thoughts, experiences would be greatly appreciated.
