Best Solution to control Spam and Attackers

  • I have had massive attacks from hackers and bots over the years. I have had to use all of the following methods to control them.

    CloudFlare
    Askimet (Plugin)
    Wangguard (plugin)
    Stop Spammers (plugin)
    Ithemes Security (plugin)
    WordFence (plugin)
    User Profiles Made Easy (Recatchpa/User System)

    Each one of these has unique functions but a lot of redundancy. This allows the site to be very secure, at the cost of performance.

    Does anyone recommend an effective solution that may reduce my server response times serving a page without significantly reducing my security?
