Best size for blog header

I too am having this issue. I used the 1600×400 that it says, but it doesn’t seem right.

The recommended size 1600×400 considering the possibility of websites displayed on bigger screen sizes. You find out the resolution of your display screen size(or more common screen sizes) and accordingly set the image width.

Thank, you. I ended up switching themes. I prefer a theme that is responsive to the variety of screen sizes.

That’s the issue I’m having, too. The header doesn’t automatically resize for larger screens. I have it 1600, but it doesn’t fill up some monitors. Is there any solution for that?
