Best Settings for Site Using WP Engine

Hello!

I was hoping someone might be able to recommend the best settings (non-pro version) for a site using WP Engine as their host. I did do some searching before posting here as well as chatting with their support team, but didn’t find anything useful or specific to the conditions I mentioned.

WPE support did mention that I don’t need to worry about the CDN settings since their advanced network provides that, but that’s about it.

The site needs a bit of tweaking to squeeze out better performance (currently hovering at 71% rating on GTMetrix) and I’ve manually optimized all images, etc. I’m hoping that some optimizing on WP Fastestcache will help me get up to at least 80%.

Any suggestions will be well appreciated.
