Best resolution for slider with height 500

  • Hi,
    What is the best image size for slider with height 500?

    Also is there a good formula to use if I were to change the size.

  • The optimal slides dimensions are 1170px in width and 500px in height. When you upload a picture with other dimensions than those, the theme will automatically resize the pictures (without stretching theme) to fit the slider default dimensions (FAQ)

    What if the pictures are already 3400 X 2300 and the slider will not be that large. Say they should be about 1100 X 500, will the resolution be affected?
